North Tippah schools to be closed additional week due to coronavirus

Schools in the North Tippah school district will be closed an additional week due to coronavirus fears.

From NTSD:

North Tippah Schools will be closed through March 27th.

Most districts in Mississippi will not be attending school due to the outbreak.

The state legislature passed a bill to ensure teachers are paid during this time as it is counted as emergency administrative leave.

Legislation is working its way through to not have state testing this year, as well.
