Ripley Library Hosts Free NASA Astro Camp for Students Today
RIPLEY, Miss. – The Ripley Public Library is inviting local students to explore the wonders of space and science during a free NASA Astro Camp® event today, Tuesday, August 19.
The program begins at 4:00 p.m. at the library and is open to all students in grades K–12. Designed to inspire curiosity and spark a love of science, the camp will feature hands-on STEM activities modeled after real NASA missions.
Library officials said the event requires no registration, encouraging families to simply bring their children’s enthusiasm and curiosity. The program is part of a national effort to bring engaging, space-focused learning opportunities to communities across the country.
