Three Blue Mountain Cougars Named to Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Team

BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. (Tippah County Sports) — Blue Mountain basketball continues to make its mark in Tippah County sports as three Cougar standouts have earned postseason recognition on the Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Team.

Seniors Chance Venson, Jordan Hall, and Trey Houston were each selected for the prestigious honor following an impressive season representing Blue Mountain High School in Class 1A competition.

Being named All-Division in Region 2 Class 1A places the trio among the top basketball players in North Mississippi and highlights the strength of Blue Mountain’s program within Tippah County sports.

Cougar Leadership Recognized Across Region 2

Throughout the season, Venson, Hall, and Houston consistently delivered in key district matchups and high-pressure moments.

  • Chance Venson provided steady scoring and leadership from the guard position, helping control tempo and create opportunities offensively.
  • Jordan Hall anchored the Cougars inside, using his size and physical presence to impact both ends of the floor.
  • Trey Houston brought athleticism, defensive intensity, and versatility that made him a matchup problem throughout Region 2 Class 1A play.

Their contributions helped Blue Mountain remain competitive throughout region action and strengthened the school’s growing reputation in Tippah County basketball.

Coach Britt Lindley Reflects on Senior Class

Blue Mountain head coach Britt Lindley praised the trio not only for their performance on the court, but for their leadership and character.
