Tippah County Sports Now Featured Statewide with Launch of Mississippi Sports App, MississippiSportsApp.com
Local athletes in Tippah County now have a bigger stage.
Mississippi Sports Group has officially launched the Mississippi Sports app for iOS, along with its companion website, MississippiSportsApp.com, bringing Tippah County sports coverage into a statewide spotlight.
The free app is now available on the Apple App Store, giving fans instant access to high school and college sports news from across Mississippi — including dedicated coverage of Tippah County teams.
Tippah County Coverage at the Core
Through the new platform, content from Tippah Sports is integrated into a real-time statewide sports feed. That means Friday night football in Ripley, playoff runs in Blue Mountain, and standout performances across the county are now featured alongside major college programs and other top stories from around the state.
From high school basketball and baseball to softball and beyond, Tippah County athletes will gain broader visibility while fans enjoy faster, more convenient access to scores and recaps.
“Local sports are the heartbeat of communities like Tippah County,” said Jon Ross Myers, founder of Mississippi Sports Group. “Our goal is to make sure the athletes and teams here get the recognition they deserve, not just locally but across Mississippi.”

Expanding the Reach of Local Sports
Founded in 2006, Mississippi Sports Group has grown into a statewide digital sports network while maintaining a strong focus on community-level coverage. The launch of the Mississippi Sports app represents a continued investment in elevating local journalism and ensuring rural and small-town programs receive meaningful exposure.
For Tippah County fans, that means more eyes on local talent, quicker access to scores and stories, and a stronger connection between hometown teams and the broader Mississippi sports landscape.
The Mississippi Sports app is available now as a free download on iOS, with an Android version planned for future release.
