Reports of strangers claiming to work for AT&T trying to get into Ripley homes

There have been multiple reports made to us in Ripley of strangers trying to gain access to peoples homes by claiming to work for AT&T according to several eye witnesses. 

According to one such report, “(police) said for anyone that sees a stranger knock on their door to contact them ASAP.” Reports of this suspicious activity came from the Springdale area.

During this time of year, the instances of both home burglaries and scams increase. By cautious on who you let into your home. It is possible these are actual AT&T representatives, but make sure you verify that before considering allowing them on your property
