A single car vehicle accident just before dark in Ripley was close to causing severe property damage. The accident occured in front of Stella Boutique in Ripley just off of the town square.
A driver hit a power pole and water hydrant in Ripley just off of the square at dusk on Wednesday in a single car crash that left the vehicle totaled.
Several emergency vehicles were on the scene and the driver was taken to the hospital.
No life threatening images were sustained. We will update the story with driver information.
