Severe storms with damaging winds in forecast

The National Weather service is issuing warnings for severe weather including damaging winds and heavy ranifall this week.

From the National Weather Service in Memphis:

A few strong to severe storms are possible late Wednesday and Thursday. Damaging winds will be the primary threat. A Wind Advisory may be needed Wednesday and Thursday.

Locally heavy rainfall is possible late Wednesday afternoon into Thursday which could aggravate ongoing river flooding. Localized flooding of low-lying areas is possible as well.
