Center for Reproductive Rights suing Mississippi over Fetal Heartbeat Bill.

The Center for Reproductive Rights, an organization based in New York, is suing the state of Mississippi over the recently signed Fetal Heartbeat Bill. The Bill would ban abortions in the state after a heartbeat was detected.

From the Center for Reproductive Rights:

FILED: We’re challenging a 6-week abortion ban in Mississippi. We blocked the state’s 15-week ban just months ago, and they responded by passing an even more extreme version.

Plain and simple: this is unconstitutional. We’ll keep taking them to court until they get the message.
