Petition started in support of Tippah County MS State extension agent

A petition has been started in support of a long time Tippah County extension agent.

From the petition:

This past Thursday, Connie Robbins Walker was notified that she did not hold employment with MS State Extension. If you have been a part of ANY program or service through the Extension Service in Tippah County whether Tippah County 4-H, Cattlemens, MAP ladies, the TCDC, the Food and Nutrition program or even the Tippah County Fair for the last 50 years at least you know that Connie has given her life since she was a small child to help mold and influence young people, support our senior citizens and offer invaluable tools for all in between.

There will be a meeting Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10 am in the Tippah County Board of Supervisors meeting room which is upstairs from the Chancery Clerk’s office. All are asked to be there in support of her having the opportunity to remain as our agent.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, we urge you to sign this petition in FULL SUPPORT of Connie Robbins Walker to remain employed with the MS State Extension in the same duties in Tippah County. Further, it is our intent to request for the hiring of those to fill vacated positions immediately. You can see the petition By clicking here.
