A car caught fire at the gas and water department in Ripley on Sunday.
The city of Ripley fire department was dispatched to the blaze, which occured around 1:30 pm according to eye witness reports.
A female was driving the vehicle down main street when it caught fire. She then pulled into the Gas and Water department, where the flame was put out. There were no injuries reported but a followup call to confirm has not been returned as of yet.
