Seven arrested on human trafficking of children, sexual slavery charges by Mississippi police department

Seven people were arrested by a Mississippi police department after a large scale sting operation last week, according to a release from the arresting Police Department.

From the Columbia Police Department:

Operation Dollhouse August 3, 2020 On July 31, 2020 the Columbia Police Department conducted a child exploitation/human trafficking sting, Operation Dollhouse.

For weeks leading up to this weekend’s operation, detectives and agents from the Columbia Police Departments Major Crimes Division and Crime Suppression Team focused on protecting our communitvs most valuable asset, our children. CPD partnered with multiple Non Governmental Organizations to provide logistics, victim services, a state of the art command center, surveillance, subject matter experts, and evidence retrieval.

NGO’s involved in Operation Dollhouse were: FREE Intemational, KlaasKids, Called 2 Rescue, Anonymity Rescue Ministries, Raven Cell and Nissi Worldwide.

The operation began with the focus on interdicting those who had intent on meeting with a child for sexual purposes. Four (4) arrest were made and multiple other individuals are under further investigation and criminal charges are pending.

The operation would later shift to human trafficking interdiction where the focus was on prostitution procurement, and rescuing girls from the lifestyle of forced prostitution or sex slavery. Three (3) arrest were made and investigations are ongoing.
