Calendar Kitchen to host Food With the First Lady event March 19

Organizers said The Calendar Kitchen will host “Food With the First Lady” on March 19 at 6 p.m. at the NEMCC Health & Nutrition Center. Registration is limited to the first 20 participants, organizers said.

Organizers described the gathering as a “fun community event” that will feature a lineup of seasonal favorites, including King Cake, heart-shaped biscuits and corned beef and cabbage, organizers said.

The cost is $20 per person, organizers said. Those who wish to register were directed to sign up online at https://wl.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E12799&id=21, organizers said.
