Northeast Mississippi Community College said it will welcome the 2026-27 Northeast Tiger Band for a week of rehearsals, meals and activities Aug. 3-6 and urged attendees to take heat-safety precautions.

Northeast said providing an iPad to each student gives them tools to learn, create and stay connected, while digital textbooks help reduce costs.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said its practical nursing students took part in interviews with healthcare professionals to gain real-world experience and job-readiness skills.

Northeast said students can earn transferable credits, receive personalized support and save thousands of dollars while completing the same bachelor’s degree.
