North East Mississippi Community College baseball has canceled its planned round-robin event at Delta State scheduled for tomorrow, according to team officials.
Instead, the Tigers will host Coahoma in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. The games are open to fans at no charge, and supporters are encouraged to attend.
Team officials said the change was made to provide additional playing opportunities for the team. The doubleheader will feature two games against Coahoma, with no admission fee required, according to the school.
Fans are invited to come out and support the Tigers in their home matchup, officials added.
