NEMCC Baseball said it will host an Exceptional Night of Baseball on March 16 at 5:30 p.m. at The Plex. The event is free, the organization said.
Organizers said the event is designed for children in kindergarten and up who face physical or mental barriers that can limit participation in traditional sports. Each child will be paired with an NEMCC athlete to help them enjoy an evening of baseball, NEMCC Baseball said.
Parents and guardians who want to register participants must sign up by Feb. 20, NEMCC Baseball said. The organization provided a participant registration form at https://forms.gle/E8twExpuPLdCLqaN8.
NEMCC Baseball said it is also seeking volunteers and donors and provided online forms for those interested: volunteer sign-up at https://forms.gle/dgLadgV5DV3HLdNr5 and donor information at https://forms.gle/HKLK58zAxQ9htn229.
