NEMCC police to offer free vehicle safety checks March 5

NEMCC Campus Police will conduct free vehicle safety checks Thursday, March 5, to help people travel for spring break, the department said.

The checks will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the end of the boulevard by the fountain on campus, NEMCC Campus Police said.

Officers will inspect oil levels, washer fluid, tire pressure, tire tread and lights and signals, the department said.

The department encouraged drivers to take advantage of the free service and said, ‘Safe travels start here at Northeast.’
