Northeast is asking local businesses, churches and organizations to provide promotional items for its Spring Orientation to help incoming students feel supported on campus and in the community, the school said.
Officials said suggested items include flyers, coupons, stickers, pens, snacks and water as ways to connect with new students.
Northeast said many of its students are new to the area and are looking for trusted local resources, and that the initiative offers an early opportunity for organizations to build connections and welcome students into Tiger Nation.
