Northeast Mississippi Community College Announces Cheer Clinics and Tryouts

Northeast Mississippi Community College is hosting cheer clinics and official tryouts for the 2026–2027 cheerleading team, according to an announcement from the college.

Clinics are scheduled for February 22 at 2 p.m., March 22 at 2 p.m., and April 9 at 4 p.m. The official tryout will take place on April 12 at 2 p.m.

While tumbling is preferred, it is not required to participate in the tryouts. The college also has a mascot spot available and is recruiting male athletes, the announcement said.
