Northeast Mississippi Community College said it celebrated students crossing the stage at the Phi Theta Kappa induction, calling the event more than a ceremony.
The college said the induction represents long nights of studying, determination and a commitment to excellence. The college added that the students are “leaders and proud Tigers who chose to go above and beyond.”
During PTK Awareness Week, and especially on Membership Monday, the college said it marked the opportunity, leadership, scholarships and lifelong friendships that come with membership.
The college urged students who received invitations to accept membership, saying, “You earned it. You belong here. And we can’t wait to see you take that step.”
