Northeast Mississippi Community College said students gathered at the BSU for a Galentine’s celebration that included fellowship, laughter and “a little bedazzling fun.” The college posted details on its social media account.
The college said the gathering “was about more than claw clips” and added, “When girls support girls, confidence grows, friendships deepen, and mental health is strengthened.”
The post said the event aimed to create safe spaces where young women feel seen, valued and encouraged.
The college said it was proud to see students building one another up. “That’s the Tiger way,” the post said.
