Northeast Mississippi Community College hosts orientation for area seniors
Northeast Mississippi Community College said it welcomed senior classes from Booneville, Wheeler and Falkner to campus for an orientation designed to give students a head start on college.
The college said students used the session to meet with academic advisors, review financial aid and pick up iPads and IDs.
Officials said bringing senior classes to campus creates a more personalized experience and gives students extra time with college staff.
In a statement, the college said the orientation was meant to reduce stress and provide support, adding, “At Northeast, your journey starts strong.”
