Northeast Mississippi Community College schedules April tryouts for 2026-27 fine arts

Northeast Mississippi Community College said in a social media post that it will hold tryouts for the 2026-27 fine arts season on Saturday, April 11. The college invited students who sing, dance, act or perform to take part.

The post listed Campus Country tryouts at 9 a.m.; drum major tryouts from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and feature twirler auditions from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the college said.

Guard and Tiger Dancer tryouts are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a makeup date of April 18, the post said.

The college encouraged students to join the tradition and showcase their talents, saying there is a place for singers, dancers, actors and performers in its fine arts programs, according to the post.
