Northeast Mississippi Community College Showcases Student Creatives

Students at Northeast Mississippi Community College are gaining hands-on experience in photography and videography, creating portfolios, personal brands, and résumés in real time, according to college officials.

These student creatives run their own professional accounts, which serve as living résumés showcasing their work for campus and community audiences. Their projects include shooting live athletic events, producing promotional videos, filming interviews and podcasts, and creating daily social media content, the college said.

By graduation, students are not only gaining experience but also building proof of their skills, officials added. The program aims to prepare students for careers in media and communications, exemplifying Northeast’s commitment to career readiness.
