Northeast Mississippi Community College students give sealants, screenings to Prentiss County second-graders

Northeast Mississippi Community College said it hosted a Sealant Day for Prentiss County second-graders, providing free dental sealants and basic health screenings, according to a college social media post that included photos.

The college said its dental hygiene students applied cavity-preventing sealants at no charge.

The post said nursing students conducted vision screenings and basic vital checks.

The college said it was proud of its students for serving the next generation. The post included the hashtag #movingforward.
