Northeast nursing students comfort children at Baptist Memorial Hospital‑Booneville
Practical Nursing students at Northeast partnered with Baptist Memorial Hospital‑Booneville to provide stickers, temporary tattoos and “Tiger buddies” to children during their visits, the school said.
Northeast said the activity gave students a chance to practice hands‑on care outside the classroom and to support children in a clinical setting.
The school said the program is part of its effort to connect classroom learning with community service and patient comfort.
Northeast added that the initiative is aimed at students interested in service, leadership and patient care, and said it sees the work as an extension of its training program.
