The Phi Theta Kappa chapter kicked off its annual fundraiser last week and welcomed CT Grist, executive director of the North Mississippi chapter of the American Red Cross, the chapter said.
The event launches a drive to support disaster relief efforts, the chapter said. Members hosted the meeting as they begin collecting donations for the American Red Cross.
The chapter said it raised more than $3,000 for disaster relief last year and is aiming to make an even bigger impact this year.
