Army National Guard Recruiter Inspires Students at NEMCC Adult Education
Staff Sgt. Kevin Bollig of the Army National Guard recently spoke to students at NEMCC Adult Education as part of a Career Connections event. The presentation focused on the diverse opportunities available through military service to enhance education and career training, according to organizers.
Bollig encouraged students to consider all pathways, including college, technical training, and military service, to gain valuable skills. He highlighted the benefits of exploring multiple options while building experience.
During the aftermath of ice storm Fern, the National Guard has deployed soldiers to impacted areas to support recovery efforts. The Guard has been actively assisting communities in need across the region.
Organizers expressed gratitude for Bollig and all National Guard members for their service and dedication. They noted that the Guard’s efforts extend beyond recovery, including outreach and educational support during times of crisis.
