Blue Mountain Christian University announced that Giving Day donations have totaled $17,508 to support its Restore & Renew initiative, the university said.
The university said the funds are being used to help restore the campus after a recent ice storm and to provide support for students through the Student Emergency Retention Fund.
University officials said the gifts are already at work and expressed appreciation for donors. In a statement, the university said it was “deeply encouraged and grateful” for those who stepped forward to invest in the school’s future.
Officials thanked donors for their generosity and their commitment to the community, the university said.
