The Mississippi Department of Transportation said traffic on State Route 14 between Carter Road and Firetower Road in Noxubee County will be shifted onto a detour starting Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7 a.m.
The agency said crews will perform a bridge replacement on the highway’s mainline and that traffic will be routed onto a detour road during the work.
Drivers were urged to slow down and heed posted signage and changing traffic conditions, MDOT said.
