The university is waiting for the city’s final confirmation that the water supply is safe before students can return to campus, according to a statement from President Barbara C. McMillin.
All other campus services and operations are prepared, and areas affected by flooding over the weekend are being repaired. Faculty and students impacted by the damage will be informed where to report or work while restoration continues.
Classes will remain online until the water safety is confirmed. The university expressed gratitude to volunteers supporting ongoing recovery efforts on campus and in the community.
