A cold front will move through the Mid-South today, producing gusty winds and light rain showers most likely along and north of I-40, the National Weather Service office in Memphis, Tennessee, said.
The agency said winds will be gusty behind the front. Light rain is expected to accompany the front in the areas mentioned.
Cooler temperatures are forecast for Saturday, the NWS said.
The office added that above-normal temperatures are expected to return next week.
