A cold front is moving into the Mid-South overnight into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The front will reinforce cold temperatures across the region through Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to moderate by mid-week, with a gradual increase in precipitation chances. Forecasters recommend residents prepare for the cooler conditions overnight and early Monday.
The weather pattern is expected to shift later in the week as temperatures warm and precipitation becomes more likely, officials said.
