Cold temperatures expected this weekend in Memphis, weather service warns

The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, has issued a forecast highlighting cold weather this weekend. There is little risk of snow or sleet, according to the agency.

Forecasters say the main concern will be the dropping temperatures. ‘Feels-like’ temperatures are expected to reach the single digits and teens by Sunday morning, prompting residents to prepare for cold conditions.

Officials advise residents to take precautions against the cold, including dressing warmly and limiting time outdoors. No significant winter weather or precipitation is expected during the weekend, the weather service added.
