Community event in Ripley offers free food to thank workers and neighbors

Ripley residents are invited to a community event Saturday morning to receive free food and celebrate unity. The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at 204 South Commerce Street and will continue until all food is distributed, according to organizers.

The event honors the workers who helped the city recover from an ice storm. Organizers said it is a way to thank those who worked tirelessly to repair damage and restore the community during a difficult time.

In addition to providing food, the event is a chance for residents to come together, show gratitude, and support one another. Organizers emphasized the importance of community strength, love, and friendship amid ongoing recovery efforts.

The event is open to all, with a focus on celebrating the resilience and unity of Ripley’s residents. Attendees are encouraged to join in sharing kindness and appreciation in the spirit of community solidarity.
