Coombs Gas Offers Free Propane Cylinders to Families Affected by Storm
Coombs Gas, along with several community partners, will distribute free propane cylinder fills on Monday, Feb. 2, to assist families affected by a recent severe storm. The effort aims to provide warmth and relief to those still without power and heat, according to a news release.
The program offers one 20-pound propane cylinder per family, while supplies last. Participating locations include Coombs Gas in Blue Mountain and Batesville, Moore’s in Pontotoc, Wilburn Automotive in Ashland, Tomlinson Building Supply in Walnut, and Enterprise Tire in Myrtle.
The initiative is intended to help families cope with ongoing cold conditions during this emergency. Only standard cylinders are available; bulk propane is not included, organizers said.
Coombs Gas expressed gratitude to its partners, team members, and community members for their support. The company hopes the initiative provides some comfort and warmth during a difficult time, the release said. Community members are encouraged to share the information with those in need.
