The National Weather Service has extended the Dense Fog Advisory until 9 p.m. CST tonight due to dense fog moving into northeast Mississippi from upstream areas, officials said.
Meteorologists are monitoring the situation closely and may extend the advisory if necessary, a NWS spokesperson said.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution and reduce speeds in areas affected by reduced visibility. No injuries or accidents have been reported related to the fog as of this update.
