Elevated fire danger will remain in place tomorrow, state fire agencies said on their websites.
Residents planning to burn should know their limits and verify whether their county is under a burn ban, the agencies said.
State resources listed on the sites include Arkansas: www.arkfireinfo.org; Mississippi: www.mfc.ms.gov/burning-info/burn-bans/; Missouri: dfs.dps.mo.gov/programs/resources/county-burn-bans.php; and Tennessee: tn.gov/tnwildlandfire/prevention/safe-debris-burning/burn-bans.html.
The agencies said residents should check those sites before burning to confirm local restrictions.
