First Circuit DA Announces Operation Reload After Overload Yielded 793 Citations
The First Circuit District Attorney’s Office announced Operation Reload in a post signed by District Attorney Jason D. Herring. The office said the new operation is a continuation of Operation Overload.
The office said Operation Overload resulted in 793 citations, 51 illegal drug- or firearm-related charges, 23 other charges including outstanding warrants, and 16 people referred to or detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The District Attorney’s Office extended its appreciation to the multiple local, state and federal law enforcement agencies that participated in Operation Overload, the post said.
