Forecasters Warn of Big Temperature Swings This Week
Forecasters said temperatures will swing sharply this week, returning near normal tomorrow, dropping to chilly mornings through Tuesday, rising to record highs by Thursday and easing again Friday.
They said daytime readings should be close to seasonal norms tomorrow, with noticeably cooler mornings through Tuesday. Forecasters attributed the change to a passing weather system.
By Thursday, forecasts call for a significant warm-up that could produce record high temperatures in some areas, forecasters said.
A secondary cooldown is expected Friday, forecasters said, producing another drop in temperatures after the midweek warmth.
