The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, issued a warning about patchy dense freezing fog affecting parts of northeast Mississippi this morning.
The fog is concentrated mainly along the Tennessee River and is expected to last less than an hour, according to the weather service.
Officials caution drivers to be cautious, especially on less-traveled roads, as the fog could cause slick conditions. Motorists are advised to slow down and use headlights while traveling in affected areas.
The weather service will continue monitoring conditions and will provide updates as necessary.
