Blue Mountain residents are being informed that gas service is being restored in the area, according to local officials.

Crews are conducting cut-ons until 6 p.m. today and will resume work at 7 a.m. tomorrow, the notice stated.

Residents needing their gas turned back on are urged to call 662-587-9599. If there is no answer, they can try 662-306-0335.

Officials have not specified the reason for the outage or the duration of the restoration process.
