Hal’s St. Paddy’s organizers warn revelers against drunk driving

Organizers of Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade & Festival warned revelers not to drink and drive and urged them to plan a sober driver before festivities begin.

In a message to attendees, organizers said following the rainbow “won’t get you out of a DUI,” and stressed that a bit of foresight can keep people and others safe on the road.

They advised attendees to designate a sober driver before any alcohol or other shenanigans start to ensure they make it home safely.

The organizers included the hashtags #DriveSober and #BuzzedDriving in their message to reinforce the warning.
