Intermittent lane closures will occur on both northbound and southbound lanes of I-55 at exit 233 near Pope Road in Yalobusha County on Sunday from 9 to 10 a.m., according to a traffic advisory from the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
During the closure, traffic will be stopped in 15-minute intervals while utility crews repair powerlines along the interstate. Law enforcement officers will be on scene to assist with traffic control, officials said.
