The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced closures of the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 from Grenada (Exit 206) to Senatobia (Exit 265) and the westbound lanes of Interstate 22 from New Albany (Exit 61) to Holly Springs (Exit 30).
The closures are in place until further notice to allow MDOT crews to perform ice removal efforts. Drivers are advised to avoid these sections of the highways.
