The Mississippi Department of Transportation announced that the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 from Grenada (Exit 206) to Senatobia (Exit 265) and the westbound lanes of Interstate 22 from New Albany (Exit 61) to Holly Springs (Exit 30) are closed until further notice.
MDOT crews are working to remove ice from these routes, prompting authorities to advise drivers to avoid these areas completely. The closures are in effect to ensure the safety of highway workers and travelers.

Officials did not specify when the roads will reopen, and drivers are urged to stay informed and plan alternate routes if necessary.
