Isolated storms will increase south of Tennessee-Mississippi state line; hail is main threat, forecasters say

Forecasters said isolated thunderstorms will begin increasing in the late morning, mainly south of the Tennessee-Mississippi state line.

They said a window could open this afternoon into early evening for a few strong to severe thunderstorms, mainly over northeast Mississippi.

Forecasters said hail would be the primary threat with those stronger storms.
