Lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 80 westbound between Eastgate Drive and Woodgate Drive in Rankin County from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily March 24 through March 31, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
MDOT said the closures are to allow the City of Brandon to perform ditch cleaning operations along the highway.
Drivers were urged to slow down and be alert for lane closures, signage and roadside crews, MDOT said.
MDOT posted a traffic map and additional details on its traffic website, the agency said.
