Man wounded in shooting at Tupelo apartments; police seek tips

Officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded about 9:40 p.m. March 4 to Monarch Creek Apartments at 1321 Ida B. Wells St., where they found an adult male suffering multiple gunshot wounds, the department said.

The victim was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, the Tupelo Police Department said.

Investigators also located multiple vehicles that had been struck by gunfire at the scene, the department said. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active, the department added.
