MDOT spotlights deputy state maintenance engineer for Engineers Week 2026
The Mississippi Department of Transportation said it is kicking off Engineers Week 2026 by highlighting Will Andrews, deputy state maintenance engineer.
MDOT said the week is meant to showcase the work of engineers across areas such as designing construction projects, transportation infrastructure and handling chemicals and biological materials.
The agency said it posted a video in which Andrews discusses which Mississippi engineering feat he wishes he had been part of. MDOT described the feature as part of its effort to spotlight vital team members during Engineers Week.
MDOT invited viewers to watch the video to learn more about Andrews and the agency’s engineering work, the department said.
