MDOT spotlights engineering technician Jason Guthrie

The Mississippi Department of Transportation on Wednesday highlighted engineering technician Jason Guthrie for his role in monitoring construction work and ensuring project specifications are met, the agency said.

MDOT said Guthrie works in the District 5 Carthage Project Office and provides quality control on sites such as Highway 51 in Madison County, where he was pictured in the agency’s post.

The agency said Guthrie has spent 10 years helping to ensure projects meet specifications and standards. MDOT credited his diligence for contributing to project outcomes.

In its post, MDOT thanked Guthrie for his work and said his efforts help keep the agency on track as it carries out transportation projects across the state.
